Let's Detrash Powers Island Trail!

Happy Thursday! We look forward to seeing you this weekend.

We’ve been hanging out a lot on the southside, so let’s switch it up and pick up trash this Sunday (12/15) at Powers Island Trail (5450 Interstate N Pkwy, Sandy Springs, GA 30328)! We’ll meet at 10:30 AM in the parking lot.

As a reminder, we recommend bringing the usual hiking necessities (water, snacks, etc.) as well as a trash grabber/picker, thick gloves, sunscreen (maybe bug spray), and trash bags. The grabbers in particular are great for hard-to-reach items. It’ll likely be cold, so bring a jacket too.

Help us find parts of our city and beyond that could use a cleanup! If you have suggestions for where we should go next, please let us know. So we can get a gauge of demographics (we’ll ask more specifics on OTP in the next post as we’re constrained to 5 polling options):
