What’s up, Detrash crew!

Let’s pick up trash this Saturday (12/7) at Lake Charlotte Nature Preserve (0 Forrest Park Rd SE, Atlanta, GA 30354). We’ll meet at 10:30 AM at the main entrance. There should be street parking on Forrest Park Rd.

As a reminder, we recommend bringing the usual hiking necessities (water, snacks, etc.) as well as a trash grabber/picker, thick gloves, sunscreen (maybe bug spray), and trash bags. The grabbers in particular are great for hard-to-reach items. In case you haven’t been outside in a few days, too, it got really cold and will still be under 50° Saturday morning. I might also be speaking to myself, but a jacket is also highly suggested.

We’re rapidly approaching the end of the year, so help us find parts of our city and beyond that could use a cleanup when we get back from the holidays! If you have suggestions for where we should go next, please let us know.
